Features:

Installation:
1. Please turn off all computers.
2. Connect keyboard, DVI-D monitor, mouse and speaker
to “KVM+AUDIO CONSOLE” port of
KDMA-201. If you use a USB mouse,please make sure it is
USB/PS2 dual mode combo mouse.
3. Use 4 in 1 KDMA cable, plug in the single connector end
to one of “PC INPUT” ports of
KDMA-201 and plug in the 4 connectors end of the cable to a PC’s keyboard/DVI-D
out/mouse/audio out ports. Then power on the display first, then speaker and PC.
4. The “LINK” LED of each input channel indicates a power-on PC and “ON LINE” LED
indicates a selected PC. The “LINK” LED of “OUT” indicates a proper connection of monitor
and the “ACTIVE” LED indicates an active DVI-D video signal.
5. For PC’s Hot Plug & Play, please connect mouse first, then connect keyboard, video and
speaker.
Switch by Keyboard Hot-key:
1. Start with two keystrokes. After you activate hot-key function, the keyboard
LEDs will blink. Then type number key <1> or
<2> to select PC#1 or PC#2.
If user type any other key or do not type in 10 seconds, the hot key command will be aborted.
2. Manual Scan: Start with two keystrokes followed by keystroke to
switch to the next active channel
3. Alternative Hot-Key command: After press RESET button of KDMA-201, you may use key instead of key and vice versa.
4. During installation or operation, if you suffer any signal problem, you can press the RESET
button to reset the console devices. The keyboard LEDs will blink to confirm the reset
command.
Switch by Front Panel Push Buttons
1. You may select a computer by pressing the front panel push button too. If the channel
connected to a power-on computer, its “LINK” LED will turn orange. And if the channel is
selected, its “ON LINE” LED will turn green.
2. During installation or operation, if you suffer any signal problem, you can press the RESET
button to reset the console devices. The keyboard LEDs will blink to confirm the reset
command.
Remarks:
1. Please read this manual carefully before installing the switch.
2. The switch takes power from the keyboard port of PC or from an optional power adapter. In
regular situation, the optional power adapter is not required.
3. Please use high quality DVI and audio cables for optimum operation.
4. To prevent potential power damage, please use 3-wire power cords for PCs and monitor and
ensure AC outlets at PCs and monitor are on the same phase and have correct grounding.
5. One year limited warranty.
