PCIE-400H 4-Port RS-232 PCI Express Serial Board The PCIE-400H PCI Express QUAD RS-232 Card is the most advanced Multiport Serial Board with PCI Express Bus. The board is PCI Express x1 compliant, and works in any PCI Express slot (x1, x4, x8 and x 16 lane PCI Express slots).

This x1 lane, standard profile PCI Express serial board offers two reliable, high speed ports of RS-232 connectivity, compatible with any PCI Express slot. Upgrading your PCI system to the more efficient PCI Express requires a hardware change only. There is no need to change your application software. The new PCI Express system is backwards compatible with your PCI software.

The PCIE-400H PCI Express 4-Port Serial Board is designed with a DB-44 connector on board and one spider cable fanning out two DB9 male connectors. The board is equipped with two 16950 UART. Each port supports up to 128 bytes of transmit and receive FIFO buffers. The FIFO buffer is 8 times of the normal 16C550 UART. Each of the RS-232 serial port supports data rate up to 921.6 Kbps, with automatic data flow control to ensure no data loss.

The serial port support full modem control signals, to ensure compatibility with a wide range of serial peripherals. This PCIE-400H offers reliable, high speed data transfer for your PCI Express system. Complete drivers support Windows Vista, XP, 2003, 2000.
