Simple Installation: Just secure a IDE drive into one of the two provided removable trays by simply plugging in IDE cable and power cable, than slide tray into enclosure, turn-lock key into ON position and power enclosure. This is it you are done and your drive shows as removable external device using firewire 400 or firewire 800 ports! If you have two drives you can RAID tham utilizing Windows XP or 2K RAID menager software (built into the OS) or MAC RAID software built into OS X. You can acess each drive independently or you can Raid them if you desire, for Fast Video Transfer we reccomad you RAID the enclosure and get upwards of 50MB/s transfer Read Speeds.
