Satisfied Review by BLG
Price Quality Value Installation of a Blue-Ray writer was easy. The drive works well with both Mac OS X and Windows 7 on a MacBook Pro. Fan doesn't bother me. It's only on when I'm using the drive. Can't beat the blow-out sale price! (Posted on 4/1/2015)

Optical Drive Salvage Review by Oldstone
Value Price Quality Purchased this to salvage a DVD burner from a dead system. This combination seems to work well. I did have to add a power converter cable as the drive only had a SATA power connection; not the 4 pin Molex connector provided. Still a reasonable buy. (Posted on 10/7/2014)

Good for SATA hard drives too. Review by lcs
Price Quality Value Ordered two and they both work fine for SATA disk drives. Installation of cables is a bit tricky but doable. Recommend. (Posted on 9/29/2014)

Aluminum External Enclosure Review by terry0013
Value Price Quality After a little over 1 month of very light usage the somewhat noisy fan has stopped working. No more noisy fan! Knocked one quality star off for fan. Other than that everything it is working as should. It is still a deal well worth the price of the blow-out sale. Who needs a noisy fan anyway? I do recommend the product. (Posted on 8/20/2014)

5.25" Aluminum External Enclosure Review by terry0013
Value Price Quality Seems to be a good enclosure. Been using it for about a week so far with NO problems. Can't beat the price I paid on the Blow Out Sale. I guess only time will tell if it truly was a good deal? (Posted on 8/14/2014)

Good Optical Enclosure Review by AVputerNerd
Price Quality Value This is a nice USB 2.0, 5.25" enclosure.
Another reviewer had said the fan was loud, so as I was putting it together I disconnected the fan. No need for one when an optical drive is being used.
I will say that I thought I could get away with flipping the aluminum part upside down so the logo would be on the bottom. You can't do this because the parts are made a certain way so it can only go together the one "correct" way.
Besides that, this is a very good enclosure of the money. (Posted on 7/11/2014) -

Good enclosure Review by art
Quality Value Price I have been using this case for about a week. After a few problems getting it recognised by the computer it works wonderfully.
There is only one problem; the fan is somewhat noisy. It became annoying enough that I had to turn the case off until I need to use it. Fortunately, it has a on/off switch (too bad it is located in the back of the case) and I can turn it back on when I need the drive.
I would recomend this case, it is a good case and for the price can't be beat.
