Adapter plugs directly to your usb 2.0 port on a windows based computer and provides one SATA port (with short cable) to connect directly into your SATA 3.5'' HDD. Uses NEC and Jmicron Chip for COnversion. Real Life Test Results show a 12.9 GB file folder with 237 Files transfered in less than 10 minutes. Tested with WD/Maxtor/Seagate/Hitachi SATA drives.

Package includes Adapter cable only, you will need to provide external power to your drive.

The Serial ATA physical, link, and transport layers are compliant to Serial ATA 1.0 ,The AUS100 converter supports a SATA 1.5GHz data rate & USB2.0 480MHz data rate . The application layer supports both the ATA register command set and PACKET command set, which could drive SATA Hard Disk.
