Introducing our brand new USB2.0 and FireWire 800 & 400 bridge board to Serial ATA (SATAI, SATAII) featuring programable Stripping, Spanning and Dual Drive mode, which offers un-parallel performance, flexible yet very simple and easy to use, part number: SA924-2BAB.

Our SA924-2BAB bridge boards series is a complete solution for bridging between SATA disks to USB2.0, FireWire400, and FireWire800 with a integrating a full USB2.0 link/Phy and FireWire, FireWire 800 link, the SA924-2BAB is a fast and easy solution for converting SATA to an external drive product.

Optimized for performance and supporting hardware accelerating RAID 0 (Stripping ), Spanning (combining) and Dual Drives. Our SA924-2BAB has an RAM7DMI embedded processor, where the ARM7TDMI can perform interleave access to the on-chip RAM buffer to ensure there is no significant latency is incurred and utilized to lower the number of IRQ being send to main CPU, thus system run lots more efficient.

SA924-2BAB can be configured with jumpers to support TWO SATA drive as Dual Drive, RAID 0, or Spanning mode. For more detail please refer to SA924-2BAB reference PDF.
