    Parallel PCMCIA Card fully supports the IEEE 1284 EPP standard and functions exactly like a computer's native parallel port. Thus, unlike many USB to Parallel converters on the market (which are designed to work only with parallel printers), the Parallel PCMCIA Card will work seamlessly with any hardware or software that requires either an EPP or standard parallel port.

    Many licensed software packages require keys Software Dongle, USB dongle Printer port software key adapter(dongles) in order to operate. However, many of today's laptops do not have built-in parallel ports. A PCMCIA card such as PCMCIA-LPT-1 that functions exactly like a native bi-directional parallel port solves this problem and enables the software keys to be used.
