The EasySync US232 Two Port USB Adapter is housed in a strong plastic enclosure and designed for rugged application areas. EasySync US232 Two Port adds two Windows serial Com ports via it's USB connection and is compatible with new & legacy RS-232 devices. USB Plug and Play allows easy serial port expansion and requires no IRQ, DMA, or I/O port resources.
Connection to USB is via a 0.9m detachable USB cable ( supplied ). Longer USB cables can be purchased separately if required - see our Cables Page for details.

  • Full set of RS-232 modem data and control signals ( TxD, RxD, RTS, CTS, DSR, DTR, DCD, RI, and GND ) on it's PC compatible DB9 male connector

  • Internal 128 byte transmit buffer FIFO and a 384 byte receive buffer FIFO

  • Supports RS232 data transfer rates of up to 460K bps

  • No external power supply is required

  • Drivers for Microsoft Windows '98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP

To download the latest drivers for Windows 98 / 2000 / ME / XP CLICK HERE ! The download file is a combined set of drivers for all Windows '98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Unzip the file to a blank floppy disk or folder on your PC.  You must un-install older versions of the driver before installing the new drivers. This edition of the VCP drivers is WHQL certified for Windows XP.

Please note - any alterations to the files including the INF files will invalidate the Windows XP certificate. In practice, this will not cause any problems other than the warning message displayed by Win XP when installing uncertified drivers.
