    The FTDI US232 Four Port USB Adapter with FTDI silicon is a commercial quality device.  Housed in a strong plastic enclosure it is designed for industrial applications, is self powered,  and comes complete with it's own wall-mount PSU adapter. TX/RX status LED's on each port help with diagnosing connectivity problems. Data transfer rates of up to 230k baud.  Connection to USB is via 0.9m detachable USB cable.  Longer Cables are available from our Cables Page. 

    USB Plug and Play allows easy serial port expansion and requires no IRQ, DMA, or I/O port resources.
    Drivers for Microsoft Windows '98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP are supplied on CD.  Drivers are also available for Apple OS-8, OS-9, OS-X and Linux. See below for drivers.
