64-Bit PCI-X SATA II CARD 3GB


The CG-SA3544A is the most powerful Serial ATA II PCI-X RAID Host Adapter to accommodate Serial ATA II devices and RAID sub-systems with the new technology of RAID 0 (striping) and RAID 1 (mirroring) and RAID 0+1 (Striping and Mirroring) features. Any system with a PCI-X and PCI buses interface can simply add the Serial ATA II devices by simply adding the CG-SA3544A RAID controller and loading the drivers and utility into the system. Serial ATA II is a high-speed serial link replacement for the parallel ATA attachment of mass storage devices. It is backward compatible with the current Serial ATA specifications. The serial link employed is a high-speed differential layer that utilizes Gigabit technology and 8b/10b encoding. The current data rate is 3.0Gb/s (=300MB/s). The CG-SA3544A supports external 4 SATA2 devices over its Infinite Band 4X connector. The built-in Silicon Image chip provides deep FIFOs, watch dog, 133MHz PCI-X transfer features and complete software driver and RAID KIT. It is the right choice for a PCI to Serial ATA II versatile devices.
