PCIex-800E 8-Port RS-232 PCI Express Serial Board The PCIex-800E PCI Express 8-Port RS-232 Card is the most advanced Multiport Serial Board with PCI Express Bus. The board is PCI Express x1 compliant, and works in any PCI Express slot (x1, x4, x8 and x 16 lane PCI Express slots). This x1 lane, standard profile PCI Express serial board offers eight reliable, high speed ports of RS-232 connectivity, compatible with any PCI Express slot. There is no need to change your application software. The new PCI Express system is backwards compatible with your PCI card software. The PCIex-800E PCI Express 8-Port Serial Board is designed with a DB-62 male connector on board, and one octopus cable fanning out eight DB9 male connectors. The board is equipped with eight 16C950 UART. Each port supports up to 128 bytes of transmit and receive FIFO buffers. Each of the PCI Express RS-232 serial port supports data rate up to 921.6 Kbps, with automatic data flow control to ensure no data loss. The PCI Express serial ports support full modem control signals, to ensure compatibility with a wide range of serial peripherals.
