Tech Notes Coolgear Testing results: This product has very high system requirements. Our testing reg is equipped with a 3.0ghz C2D (E6850 if you must know) and a nVidia 7600GS. While this system received the 5 "stars" for performance from the application's built-in benchmark it was barely sufficient to run the program. DVD streams worked without a hitch, however 720p movies would have the occasional hiccup and skip a few frames. 1080p movies were not usable on this system.
Our test laptop, an IBM Lenovo with a top of the line (for its age) Centrino processor and Intel GPU was not capable of playing 720p video, and DVD playback would have the occasional frame jump.

Also be aware that since the application and device are replaying the computer screen, the computer screen and your TV should be the same aspect ratio. If your computer monitor is 4:3 or 5:4 and your TV is 16:9 then there will be issues where you loose some of the screen output (top and bottom will be cropped off). Keep your computer and TV in the same general shape, ie "square" (4:3 or 5:4) or "widescreen" (16:9 or 16:10). Do not mix and match.
